ARS is looking for a Secretary to work in Joint Base Andrews, MD. The Secretary provides administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient office operations. Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, routing them appropriately.
- Pick up and distribute mail.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, and appointments.
- Prepare, proofread, and distribute documents, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and staff in a professional manner.
- Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
- Support team members with project-related administrative tasks.
- Assist with employee expenses and travel authorizations.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Assist with timekeeping.
- Perform general office duties such as copying, scanning, mailing, and data entry.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Tongue and Quill proficiency preferred.
- Proficiency with office software such as email, calendars, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Professional demeanor and customer service skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
