At The Joseph, hospitality never sleeps. The Night Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring both exceptional guest service and the accuracy of the hotel’s financial operations during overnight hours.

This position combines front desk responsibilities with accounting functions, supporting a seamless guest experience while completing nightly financial reporting and audit processes.


Requested Tasks

  • Provide front desk service including guest check-in, check-out, and handling overnight inquiries
  • Complete nightly audit procedures including balancing room revenue, reconciling accounts, and closing the day in the property management system
  • Review and verify accuracy of financial transactions, postings, and reports
  • Prepare and distribute daily financial and operational reports
  • Monitor hotel activity during overnight hours and ensure guest safety and satisfaction
  • Respond to guest requests and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of overnight activity
  • Coordinate with security and other departments as needed
  • Prepare the front office for the morning shift


Requested Capabilities

  • Prior experience in hotel front desk, night audit, or hospitality operations preferred
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience with hotel property management systems preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage overnight responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Professional, calm, and service-oriented demeanor
