Sr Program Manager, Replenishment & Inventory

Are you excited to drive high-visibility, strategic supply chain solutions in a fast-growing market? MX Supply Chain is looking for a Sr Program Manager, Replenishment & Inventory who will lead the launch and sustained operation of new fulfillment programs while continuously optimizing inventory flow across the network. This role sits within the S&OP and Inbound team, working at the intersection of planning, execution, and cross-functional coordination to deliver speed and reliability for our customers.

As a Sr Program Manager, you will own the end-to-end planning and execution of new same-day and speed-focused fulfillment programs, including network readiness, replenishment logic, inventory positioning, and re-stock strategies. You will define and drive the operational model from concept through steady-state, partnering with Retail, Operations, Transportation, Finance, and Technology teams to ensure seamless integration into the existing supply chain.


## Key Job Responsibilities

- Own the launch plan and operational readiness for new speed-focused fulfillment programs within the MX network, coordinating milestones across multiple stakeholders
- Design and implement replenishment and re-stock frameworks that optimize inventory availability, placement accuracy, and fill rates across fulfillment nodes
- Develop inventory transfer strategies (reactive, proactive, and automated) to balance network health and meet customer promise
- Build and maintain capacity models, demand signals, and inventory health dashboards to inform weekly and daily planning decisions
- Partner with Retail, FBA, and business teams to translate demand plans into actionable inbound and replenishment schedules
- Drive the S&OP cadence for assigned programs, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts, storage capacity, and operational execution
- Identify risks, define mitigation plans, and escalate blockers with data-backed recommendations to leadership
- Write high-quality documents (business cases, SOPs, post-launch reviews) that inform, align, and drive decisions across the organization
- Continuously improve planning processes by automating manual workflows, reducing cycle times, and increasing forecast accuracy

## A Day in the Life

You start your day reviewing inventory health metrics and replenishment execution for your programs. You connect with operations and transportation teams to resolve inbound exceptions and adjust plans in real time. You spend time building or refining the operational model for upcoming program launches, writing documents that align stakeholders on timelines and trade-offs. You challenge assumptions in demand and capacity plans, propose alternatives backed by data, and drive alignment in cross-functional forums. When new challenges emerge, you take ownership, mobilize the right teams, and deliver solutions at pace.



Key job responsibilities
- Manage the short and medium term forecast, capacity and peak planning for the Amazon MX network
- Work in partnership with operations team to set optimal IB inventory plans, targets and choices to meet on-time delivery goals
- Define a near term vision and plan to deliver it driving continuous delivery customer experience improvement by collaborating with stakeholders on design of new solutions that enhance business performance and achieve established quality and efficiency goals
- Inspect demand forecasts, capacity plans critically and challenge assumptions from business teams
- Provide high quality inputs and garner alignment with finance and leadership teams using a combination of in-person meetings, well written data backed documents, detailed business models or presentations
- Identify and evaluate potential risks/obstacles within both internal and external business environment with minimal direction


A day in the life
You attend daily business reviews and understand whats happening to key network metrics. You spend time with strategy & ops teams to find ways to meet customer expectations. You write quality documents that seek to plan, inform & align internal stakeholders. You challenge the status quo and drive data based decision making within your team. Additionally, you are always ready to jump in and take charge when problems and challenges emerge.

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 6+ years of working with external suppliers experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English

- Experience in supply chain such as contracting, demand management and/or planning and procurement, and supply chain operations
- Knowledge of supply chain management concepts - forecasting, planning, sourcing, optimization and logistics or equivalent
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence, or experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
- Experience with retrofits, launches, or automation deployments, or experience leading cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and field execution through launch readiness and go-live phases
- MBA, or Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Spanish
