Asset Analyst I - Water & Sewer

A Water and Sewer Asset Analyst supports the Asset Manager in developing and implementing asset management policies, processes, and procedures that align with City goals. The role assists in delivering strategic programs that extend the lifespan and performance of water and sewer infrastructure. The analyst provides data analysis and reporting to engineering, operations, leadership, and finance teams to support capital improvement planning. Key responsibilities include producing annual asset inventories, creating data products such as maps, dashboards, and reports, and presenting progress through clear visualizations. The position also performs regular QA/QC on digital asset records to ensure accuracy and data integrity. This role plays a key part in strengthening data-driven decision-making and improving the overall effectiveness of the utility’s asset management program
