As a per diem Speech Language Pathologist in Outpatient Therapy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Ca, you will have comprehensive knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques in a medical physical disabilities setting.

Education Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited SLP program

License/Certification Requirements:

  • Valid and current license as a SLP in the state of California
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross

What will set you apart? (Preferred Skills/Qualifications):

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing therapist; preferably in an outpatient setting. Experience working with the electronic health record preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Able to push, pull, lift or carry 0-35 pounds on an intermittent basis;
  • Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat consistently in order to safely administer manual exercises and techniques;
  • Able to assist patient with physical activities such as transfers, bed mobility, and ambulation.
  • Able to identify need for an arrange assistance to maintain safe techniques.
