
Inspections Coordinator
Job Description
Division 41 – Duluth, GA
Summary
Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and supporting fire protection system inspections to ensure compliance with NFPA standards, AHJ requirements, and company policies. This role serves as the administrative and operational hub between inspectors, customers, and internal teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Schedule and coordinate fire protection system inspections (fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, extinguishers, etc.).
- Assign inspections to field inspectors and manage daily/weekly schedules.
- Coordinate access, permits, and site requirements with customers and property managers.
- Track inspection due dates, renewals, and compliance timelines.
- Review inspection reports for completeness and accuracy prior to submission
- Upload, distribute, and archive inspection documentation.
- Communicate inspection status, deficiencies, and follow-up needs to internal teams.
- Support service and repair coordination resulting from inspection findings.
- Maintain accurate records in ERP, inspection, or service management systems.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma and 2+ years of experience in service coordination, scheduling, or administrative support; fire protection or construction industry experience preferred.
Computer Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and ERP systems.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of computer and phone use; regularly required to sit and use hands, talk or hear, stand; walk and reach with hands and arms; occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
