Salary Range: $42,000  -$44,000/ yearly

Position Summary
 
JusticeWorks YouthCare is seeking a Full-Time Truancy Prevention Specialist! In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students improve school attendance and supporting families within the community. If you are passionate about Juvenile Justice, Child Welfare, Education, or Social Work, we encourage you to apply!
 
What You’ll Do
  • Monitor student attendance and identify patterns of chronic absenteeism.
  • Conduct home visits and meet with students and families to assess barriers affecting school attendance.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to improve attendance.
  • Collaborate with schools, families, and community organizations to provide support and resources.
  • Transport clients using your personal vehicle, as necessary.
  • Monitor and evaluate truancy prevention efforts and recommend improvements when needed.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to pass required clearances.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
