Duties include management of inventory as it relates to picking products, replenishing, requisitioning, shipping and receiving. Duties are not limited to the supply room, but extend to all areas of the hospital

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for ordering of supplies for Outpatient Surgery. The Inventory Coordinator works with the Surgical Services Managers and Team Leaders to identify supply/inventory improvement opportunities. Oversees daily activities for the purchase and distribution of OR materials and supplies. Works collaboratively with sterile processing to minimize high inventory. Acts a liaison to purchasing, sterile processing and OR staff with respect to inventory control.Under general supervision, but according to established procedures, receives supplies, equipment and special orders for Surgery.
