What is the opportunity? 

As the National Lead, Inside Sales & Sales Support, you will report to the Head of Individual Brokerage and lead a national team of Inside Sales Managers and Sales Support Managers who oversee regionally aligned Inside Wholesaling and Sales Support professionals. Close collaboration is required with the Regional Vice Presidents along with strategic partners (including product, marketing, tax and estate planning), you will drive sales growth in Individual Life and Living Benefit Insurance and Wealth Solutions by optimizing inside sales effectiveness, enhancing support capabilities, and creating scalable processes that maximize productivity.

What will you do? 

• Actively representing the Inside Sales and Sales Support teams across the organization.

• Develop and maintain cross-functional partnerships with internal stakeholders to remove barriers, improve processes, and enhance the broker and client experience.

• Contribute to the development and execution of a comprehensive Inside Sales and Sales Support strategy.

• Establish consistent national standards, routines, and accountability frameworks while collaborating with Regional Vice Presidents to ensure regional needs are addressed.

• Drive performance through structured management cadence, targeted sales campaigns, and data-driven coaching.

• Identify process optimization opportunities that increase efficiency, improve broker satisfaction, and accelerate sales cycle times.

• Create and execute a talent development strategy that includes career pathing, skills enhancement, and retention initiatives for all Inside Sales and Sales Support team members.

• Partner with managers to identify high-potential talent, provide targeted coaching, address performance challenges, and continuously elevate team capabilities.

• Establish and track meaningful activity and outcome metrics that drive the right behaviors and demonstrate the impact of inside sales and support functions on overall business results.

 Must Have

• Must have in depth knowledge (5 to 7 years minimum) of the insurance distribution environment specifically third-party Brokerages sales

• Proven leadership in building high-performing national sales/support teams, including talent development and retention.

• Track record of contributing to and executing sales/support strategies that drive growth in individual life, living benefits, and wealth solutions

• Ability to influence and build and maintain partnerships with internal stakeholders

• Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

• Excellent organization skills and ability to manage multiple/changing priorities and strong Microsoft Office technical skills

Nice to Have

•University/College Degree/Diploma in Business, Sales or Marketing

•Insurance licenses/designations, Life License, LLQP

•Bilingualism (English and French)

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$90,000.00 - $140,000.00
