Job Description
Position Purpose
Responsible for operation of injection molding machines and related equipment in production of quality commercial products.
Essential Duties and responsibilities
- Operate molding and blow‑molding machines.
- Clip, trim, visually inspect, and package productperdocumented instructions.
- Monitor, record, and report allscrap.
- Assistmolders during machine changes as needed.
- Inspect machines toidentifypotential malfunctions.
- Perform checks and compare parts with QA samples and production orders.
- Complete all production paperwork accurately andalignedto quality standards.
- Complete weekly cycle counts onbuilditems.
- Follow build instructions for commercial products with high attention to detail.
- Collaborate with teammates to verify work quality for commercial customers.
- Use the ERP system to print and scan labels; build commercial packaging.
- Independently prioritize tasks to meet commercial customer demand.
- Follow all Vaupell policies, standard operating procedures, and safety practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma/general education degree (GED) required.
- Ability to read, speak, understand and follow instructions in English.
- Capable of using basic handtools.
- Comprehension of basic math, including fractions, decimals,averagesand percentages
- Must be able to wear andproperly userequiredpersonal protective equipment.
Candidates must be a “US Person” (i.e. US Citizen or Permanent Resident) to ensure Vaupell's compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations)
Environmental Condition
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
