Data Analyst/Engineer
Changeis, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst/Engineer to support data initiatives in our current work.
As a Data Analyst/Engineer, you will be responsible for creating reports, visualizations, and dashboards that turn data into actionable insights for a key federal client. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver analytical solutions that help them make data-driven decisions. A key focus will be on blending data from multiple systems to create comprehensive operational views, particularly for software development and program management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence applications, dashboards and reports using Databricks and other products.
- Gather and analyze business requirements for reporting and analytics.
- Perform data blending and analysis, combining data from multiple sources.
- Translate complex data and findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives and visualizations.
- Work with data engineers to ensure the necessary data is available and structured correctly for reporting needs.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer critical business questions.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role.
- Expert proficiency with a data analytics tool, preferably Databricks.
- Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Experience with Databricks and related tools.
- Experience with other BI tools or analytics platforms (e.g., Palantir Contour).
- Basic understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.
- Experience working directly with business users to gather requirements.
