Responsibilities:
1. Understand and have at least 8 years of experience in Civil and Commercial Law (in all Indonesian courts, including first instance, appeal, cassation, and judicial review), Criminal Law (Examination and Judicial Process in Court), Arbitration, State Administrative Dispute Resolution, Mediation, and/or Alternative Dispute Resolution.
2. Lead, oversee and manage all litigation and dispute matters involving the company including civil, administrative, criminal, and regulatory disputes.
3. Develop litigation and dispute strategies, supervise case handling, and ensure effective representation in court, arbitration and other dispute resolution forums.
4. Assess legal risks arising from disputes and provide strategic legal advice.
5. Perform intensive legal research to assist the legal team to prepare accurate and timely reports, legal advice, case files, and other legal documents.
6. Manage and coordinate with external counsel, regulators, and relevant authorities in handling disputes and legal proceedings.
7. Ensure alignment between involved departments and company’s legal objectives
8. Monitor the progress of litigation and disputes cases, ensure team maintain proper documentation and reports of case status, legal exposure, recommended actions, monthly meeting
9. Supervise litigation team members and coordinate with internal departments to gather relevant information and documentation necessary for legal proceedings.
10. Coordinate with internal litigation and dispute stakeholders to align legal progress, developments, do and don’t, potential business impact.
11. Candidate shall have a valid advocate license in Indonesia
