
Catering Dept Kitchen Operations Support
Job Description
- Perform deep cleaning of kitchen areas twice per week
- Clean and sanitize:
- Countertops, sinks, and backsplashes
- Appliances ( refrigerators—interior/exterior as assigned, ovens, stovetops)
- Cabinets, drawers, and handles
- Tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces
- Sweep, mop, and spot-clean floors
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Restock basic cleaning supplies as needed
- Follow all cleaning checklists, safety guidelines, and sanitation procedures
- Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or supply shortages to supervisor
- Currently enrolled student in good standing
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting up to [X] lbs, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual with consistent availability
- Prior cleaning or custodial experience
- Familiarity with cleaning products and basic sanitation practices
- Indoor kitchen and common areas
- Use of standard cleaning supplies and equipment (training provided)
