Senior Engineer Modelling of Battery Storage Systems

Your tasks:
- Modelling of battery energy storage systems (BESS) for Windfarms with Simulink
- Modelling of controllers of BESS with Simulink & Simulink System Composer
- Validation of the models
- Setup of Model-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-loop environmental models contain the BESS
- Operation of the Models and analysis of results
- Collaboration in agile development teams.
Your qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Energy Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Solid experience in modeling Battery Energy Storage Systems and related systems
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink
- Experience with Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) simulation environments
- Experience in parameter tuning, model commissioning, and result interpretation
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Self-motivated and structured approach to work
