Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.

We’re looking for a motivated, talented developer to join us on the exciting journey to advance SAP’s Hyperspace CI/CD solution.

You will join the CI/CD Setup team within the Hyperspace organization. The team’s main goal is to reduce the effort required of DevOps engineers by orchestrating the tools and processes for building, testing, and delivering projects. In the era of AI, we are also actively working on integrating state-of-the-art AI tooling and capabilities into our core tools and processes.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • You will be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle – from idea generation to development to operations and support.

  • You will drive your development topics (frontend, backend, or Full-Stack) with a very high focus on quality, applying state-of-the-art quality and development principles.

  • You will support the team in defining concepts, conducting technical evaluations, and providing effort estimations.

  • You will collaborate with stakeholders, end-users, and other teams, and translate their needs into scalable, maintainable features.

  • You will explore and implement agentic AI approaches to improve daily engineering tasks, automation, and decision-making.

  • You continuously learn and apply new technologies and best practices to keep us ahead of the curve.

If you love solving technical challenges and enjoy networking, this is a great opportunity to shape the future of developer experience at SAP.

During your onboarding and learning phase, an experienced colleague from your team will act as your buddy, mentoring you in finding what you need to know at SAP and within the team’s daily work.

What you bring

  • Sound technical background with a university degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Golang experience is preferred, but we also welcome strong developers in JavaScript, Python, or similar languages who are willing to learn Golang.

  • Good understanding and safe handling of Git and related tools and processes.

  • Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (using orchestrators like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions, or similar).

  • Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes is a plus.

  • Professional experience in software development is a strong plus.

  • Agile development methodologies and tools.

  • Fluent English communication skills.

Finally, you should have a results-driven work ethic, be a passionate team player, and focus on quality and customer success. Coding is fun for you.
