We’re committed to creating a world where older people thrive.    The new year presents an excellent new opportunity for a proactive, dedicated and experienced Technical Release Manager to leverage their technical expertise and join a high-performing internal IT team.  As Technical Release Manager, you will own end-to-end software release governance, delivery and environment management across the organisation. You will ensure all technology changes and updates are strategically scheduled, tested, fully approved, and deployed smoothly, with strong controls to minimise risk and meet compliance requirements. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of all application production and non-production environments, enabling reliable delivery, and aligning release outcomes with business priorities within a highly regulated and complex environment.  Reporting to the Senior Applications Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant technology delivery that directly supports care and business outcomes. This is an opportunity to lead meaningful change, mature enterprise release practices, and make a genuine impact in a purpose-driven organisation.  Your exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and partner with various stakeholders across the business to achieve outcomes, will support your success.   The preferred candidate possesses excellent organisational and planning abilities, demonstrated by their capacity to oversee numerous competing priorities and manage releases at various phases whilst recognising the potential impact of updates on other systems. Additionally:    5+ yrs demonstrated experience in software engineering, IT release management, software development or similar  2-3+ yrs proven experience specifically in a Technical - Release Manager or similar role   Background in Health and Aged Care industry or other regulated industries - preferred  Technical proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, tools, and version control systems    Experience with Azure Devops (ADO), including managing Azure Pipelines for build and release, using Azure Repos or GitHub for source control   Experience working with Azure Boards for tracking release work  Proven ability to manage automated build and release pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git/GitHub, etc.  Knowledge of configuration management and scripting (PowerShell, YAML pipelines, ARM/Bicep) to facilitate environment setups and automation - advantage  Knowledge of environment management best practices with experience in   Knowledge of ITIL processes (particularly Release, Change, and Configuration Management)  Willingness to obtain a Police Check  Benefits Catholic Healthcare employees receive include;  Additional leave days, salary packaging, fitness benefits, paid parental and family leave, and long service leave after five years!    Catholic Healthcare is a values-based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgrounds     Apply your interest online now!
