Required to support the growing supply chain demand in Japan and Asia to support the additional business and network expansion in the region. To bring to Colt current and innovative thinking based on latest supply chain methods and systems.

What you will do
• Understand the purpose and vision of Colt and where supply chain and your role fit in the business.
• Monitor the daily inventory replenishment process in Asia, including forecasting and setting inventory min-max levels to ensure availability to meet Service Delivery and assurance SLA’s.
• Contributes, Develops and agrees standard inventory management practice and processes across Colt linking with key stakeholders e.g. Finance, Service Delivery and Operations.
• Drives technology phase in – phase outs of inventory to ensure availability of equipment for new installations and minimize leftovers.
• Maintain and execute tactical procurement processes such as pre-owned market exploitation.
• Drives the repairs process and relationships with repairs vendors to ensure timely inventory replenishment.
• Provides requirements, monitors and creates reports for overall inventory management and Logistics team KPIs, driving actions to correct issues arising
• Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure regular demand forecasts are in place and managed.
• Provides supply chain ERP system requirements and contributes towards user testing and is accountable for implementation within the team.
• Maintain Logistics services sourcing activities and manage operational and financial relationships with Logistics 3rd parties and field partners.
• Ensure that field partners that carry out logistics services comply with supply chain processes and procedures.
• Optimizes storage and transport of inventory across Colt (including new-Asia locations and Japan offnet areas where necessary)
• Develop operational inventory management models with Logistics 3rd parties and local operational teams to support efficient equipment delivery.
• Ensures accurate accounting and control processes are maintained and audited regularly. This is primarily stock accuracy in colt’s ERP (SAP), end of Year stock counting programme and ERP (SAP) timely transactions.
• Ensure processes and tools are continually optimized and documented.
What we're looking for
Must haves:
• BSc or MSc in Supply Chain Management focused on procurement, operations, supply chain systems and global distribution
• Business Japanese skills
• Intermediate English skills
• Customer first attitude and logical thinking

• Flexible and proactive attitude
• Strong team player
• Strong communication skills with ability to clearly communicate with senior executives
• Ability to challenge. Willing to learn new and develop him/herself
