First (Days)Overview:
Oversee the proposal creation and distribution process for the responses Sentara Health Plans develops in conjunction with RFPs (Requests for Proposal) and RFIs (Requests for Information) received. Oversee Consultants and internal teams, as responses are developed. Develop strategic responses and work with subject matter experts to define key messages and themes for the response. Evaluate Medicaid market trends and analyze competitor responses. Oversee the management and coordinate the production, assembly, and fulfillment of hard-copy and electronic RFP/RFI responses. Ensure completion and accuracy of all information included in the RFP/RFI within the extremely time-sensitive deadlines specified by the customer that is often very short. Establish standards and processes for government procurement responses.
Education
Bachelors level degree
Experience
10 years experience in professional writing and project management
5 years experience in government programs procurement
5 years experience working within the healthcare industry required
Commerical group insurance and Medicaid experience preferred
Location
This is a Hybrid/Remote position in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
