
Assembly Process Technician
Job Description
Job Summary:
The Process Technician supports manufacturing operations by executing process tasks and monitoring product flow within an assigned process area. This role works closely with Process Engineers, Equipment Technicians, and Production teams to maintain process stability, quality, and cycle‑time performance in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute process operations in the assigned area following approved work instructions.
- Monitor SPC charts and process indicators; respond to out‑of‑control conditions.
- Perform lot handling, inspections, and data collection to support quality and yield goals.
- Document process activity, issues, and corrective actions in tracking systems.
- Support process qualifications, experiments, and engineering evaluations.
- Partner with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot process‑related issues.
- Adhere to all safety, contamination control, and cleanroom requirements.
- Support assigned shift schedules and production priorities.
- Graduate of a technology-related course (electronics, mechanical, or semiconductor engineering).
- At least 1 year of hands-on work in semiconductor manufacturing or assembly.
- Knowledge of semiconductor process is preferable (Wafer Saw, Die Attach, Wirebond, Mold, TNF, Marking, etc.)
- Competence in applying quality control, ESD protection, and cleanroom protocols.
