Welder/Fabricator

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components for industrial cranes.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metals.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, grinders, plasma cutters, and drill presses.
• Inspect welds and fabricated parts for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve fabrication issues.
• Assist in crane assembly and installation as needed.
• Ability to lift and handle up to 35 lbs. on a consistent basis and work above ground heights, in excess of 50ft.
• Ability to work in shop and on off-site field work.
• Ability to pass GMAW, and SMAW, 3G, A-36 weld certification test.

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in welding preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in heavy manufacturing.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Ability to work at heights greater than 20'
• Travel up to 20% percent.
• Must possess own tools
• Basic computer skills: data entry and navigate various Microsoft programs as deemed necessary.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and practices.
• Must possess a clean driving record in order to operate corporate vehicles.

Pay Range: $20 - $24 per hour
