TITLE: Senior Finance Analyst, Supply Chain
LOCATION: Hybrid in Scarborough on average 3-4 days a week
COMP RANGE: CAD $100,000 – $125,000 annually
Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
Griffith Foods is hiring a Senior Finance Analyst, Supply Chain who will be responsible for financial management and oversight of the site-level supply chain finance and manufacturing. This role leads cost tracking, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance reporting, to ensure accurate, insightful, and actionable financial information to drive operational decisions.

You will drive financial transparency and operational efficiency through data-driven insights and process improvements.

As a Senior Finance Analyst, Supply Chain, your responsibilities will include:
Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Warehouse, Maintenance, Quality, Sanitation, Health & Safety, and Process Improvement teams to strengthen cost control and performance.
Own daily and monthly cost tracking, variance analysis, and performance reporting for manufacturing and supply chain activities (Departmental & Manufacturing Expense, Loss on Inventory, Inventory Reconciliation, and Labour Productivity).
Conduct in-depth cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve operational efficiencies, and influence cost drivers in partnership with operations teams, and develop financial models and scenarios for optimizing inventory levels, production, etc. to improve service level, efficiency, profitability, etc. Support CapEx management, standard cost updates, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards to monitor operational and financial performance, providing insights for better decision-making at the site.
Provide recommendations for inventory control to minimize losses and optimize working capital. Lead semi-annual physical inventory counts to ensure compliance, accuracy, and reconciliation with system records and ensure inventories are properly valued and standards are accurately set and maintained across the plant.
Lead site-level annual budget and quarterly forecast processes for headcount, expenses, inventory, and loss on inventory.
Partner with plant management, regional finance, and operations teams to deliver insightful financial analysis that supports strategic decisions and drives cost efficiency.
The Senior Finance Analyst, Supply Chain position is well-suited for you if you:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the cost components and drivers of inventory, absorption, production variances, overall equipment effectiveness, etc. and the impact to manufacturing costs, enabling insightful guidance on cost optimization and resource allocation.
Develop strong relationships with cross-functional partners in manufacturing (i.e. plant management, Procurement, Finance, plant employees, etc.) and tailor your communication to different audiences.
Are a strategic thinker with the ability to see the bigger picture, aligning financial strategies with supply chain initiatives to maximize efficiency and profitability.
Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
At least five (5) years of financial analysis experience, including at least three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing finance or accounting environment.
Willing and able to work on average 3-4 days per week onsite in Scarborough, ON.
Currently located within a commutable distance to Scarborough, ON.
Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

Accounting Degree and/or early career experience in cost accounting.
Food manufacturing finance experience.
There is potential for a discretionary bonus, with a target of 6%. This bonus is based on personal & company performance and is not a guaranteed bonus plan.
