In this role, you’ll work alongside industry partners to drive innovation and support the transition to greener infrastructure across the Mountain Plains Region (Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, & Nebraska). You are someone that sits within this territory and would be willing to travel about 50% to support customers and partners adopt warm-mix asphalt, liquid anti-strip, and rejuvenator solutions.

Develop and execute strategies to expand the use of sustainable paving technologies
Build meaningful relationships with agencies, contractors, and industry partners
Help customers understand and apply the value of Ingevity’s solutions in real-world settings
Identify new market opportunities and contribute to regional growth
Collaborate across teams to support customer needs, demonstrations, and project execution
Provide hands-on support during paving projects when needed
Troubleshoot technical challenges and help partners find effective solutions
Support adoption of product specifications and industry best practices
Serve as a trusted resource and connection point between customers and internal teams
What You Bring
You’ve built experience in asphalt materials, paving operations, civil engineering, or technical sales/marketing within the road construction industry—and you’re excited to apply that knowledge in a broader, more strategic way
You bring an understanding of pavement engineering concepts such as mix design (e.g., Superpave, SMA), asphalt binders, and are familiar with—or interested in learning more about—warm-mix asphalt technologies like Evotherm
You’re comfortable around asphalt plant operations and paving environments, and understand how projects come together from design through construction and performance
You’ve partnered with Departments of Transportation (DOTs), public works agencies, contractors, or asphalt producers—or you’re eager to build those relationships and navigate how public infrastructure decisions are made
You enjoy translating technical concepts (like mix performance, sustainability benefits, or specifications) into clear, practical value for different audiences
You naturally build strong, trust-based relationships with engineers, agency stakeholders, and field teams
You approach challenges with curiosity and enjoy working through paving, mix design, or field performance issues alongside customers and partners
You’re motivated by the opportunity to contribute to more sustainable infrastructure, including solutions like warm-mix asphalt, recycling, and emissions reduction
You’re comfortable balancing multiple projects and priorities across a region, and working in a role that blends technical and commercial responsibilities
You’re open to traveling regularly (approximately 50% or more within your territory) to connect with partners and support projects in the field
