Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing HR support to designated business areas, assisting employees and supervisors/managers with HR generalist issues on a daily basis
- Handling employee relations and issues, offering solutions, resolving problems, and ensuring all business decisions comply with HR/labor laws
- Designing and delivering training sessions for employees and managers, fostering employee engagement, conducting succession planning, and Talent Review programs
- Conducting research, analyzing HR data, and preparing reports to influence business decisions
- Collaborating with the EMEA Talent Acquisition Team on workforce planning and participating in selected employer branding projects
- Contributing to the development of HR policies and programs in partnership with the HR Team
- Participating in HR and business projects
REQUIREMENTS:
- Higher education, preferably a degree in Management or Human Resources
- 5 years of experience in a similar position (HR Business Partner, HR Generalist) in a manufacturing, international company
- Excellent command of Polish and English languages
- Strong knowledge of Polish labor law and the ability to apply legal solutions in a dynamic and demanding environment
- Thorough understanding of HR processes and business principles
- Analytical skills to identify and recommend solutions to problems
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated independence, initiative, and excellent organizational skills
