This position will operate in a hybrid work environment, 3 days per week in the office (Philadelphia, PA).

OVERVIEW:

The Business Assurance team provides an independent, objective and unrestricted evaluation of management activities and includes Compliance, Legal and Risk Management and Internal Audit. Compliance is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to help Glenmede to accomplish its objectives while assuring that the Company is operating consistent with the requirements of law and our regulators, including the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). We are seeking a motivated individual with strong data analytical and communications skills to help us identify and improve our program in several areas, including trading, our Anti-Money Laundering program and our Code of Ethics, which is designed in part to help prevent insider trading. This role provides an opportunity for positive impact throughout Glenmede.

As a Co-op working at Glenmede, you’ll gain exposure to the numerous and various departments that make up Glenmede. Compliance will give you the opportunity to work with many different departments as we help our colleagues learn about how rules affect them and work with them collaboratively to solve problems. Your role will give you the opportunity to work with managers and specialists of all career levels. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Construct tests and analyze the resulting data in a variety of areas to identify whether our systems and processes are adequate
  • Management of databases and applications 
  • Basic risk analysis 
  • Assist in the creation of new policies and procedures and create communications for people throughout the organization to alert them to issues and solutions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Analytical, critical thinking, and attention to detail skills
  • Strong communications skills
  • Basic understanding with Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to IT applications as needed
