Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Static, fatigue and dynamic stress analysis for Aero structures
  • Use of classical hand calculation approach to analyze both primary and secondary structures
  • Experience in both metallic and composite structures/components
  • Provide technical solutions from conceptual to detailed design stage
  • Use of Finite Element Methods for load extraction and to solve complex engineering problems
  • Participate in review meetings with Client, Customer and Suppliers
  • Engineering Stress report generation and review
  • Interact with customer; prepare Scope of Work, laydown the execution methodology to ensure that the projects executed meet the customer requirements

Qualifications Basic

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in Aerospace Industry as a Stress Engineer
  • Comprehensive knowledge Stress analysis of Aero structures, Nacelle and EBU systems

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
  • Experience in metallic and Composites structural analysis
  • Experience in Load, stress calculations and preparing technical reports
  • Experience in Finite Element Analysis tools (Nastran, Patran)
  • Experience in static, fatigue and damage tolerance calculations
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
  • Experienced in PATRAN, NASTRAN, FEMAP
  • Experience in MRB and SRM
  • Experience in CATIA V5, Enovia
