Salary £48,000 per annum plus 34 days leave (rising to 39) and family friendly policies
Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw), hybrid working

What you’ll do
Lead sourcing for a range of categories or services, ensuring value and compliance
Develop strategies that drive value and reduce risk
Guide stakeholders through tenders and contract decisions
Use data and insight to improve supplier outcomes and reduce risk
Help shape a best-in-class procurement service

You have
Led sourcing and tendering for a range of categories or services
Strong commercial skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
Experience managing supplier performance and contracts
Knowledge of procurement law or equivalent experience
Confidence using data to drive decisions and improve outcomes

The practical bits
You’ll work Monday to Friday
We work core hours between the hours of 08:00 to 18:00 with flexibility built in
We work on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week in our Newcastle upon Tyne office, with the rest from home.
Our anchor day is Monday, and you pick your preferred second day
