Description
Responsible for enhancing on site customer experience, product discovery and maximising sales and sell through for Mamas & Papas within our Lifestyle category.
Responsibilities include on site category maintenance, web/ app optimisation, launches/ campaigns, performance reports, visual merchandising, and management of key relationships
Functional Roles and Responsibilities
• Website Management across all site locales– manage catalog including images & product description, prices and day to day operations of the website.
• Responsible for online product onboarding and strategic visual merchandising across all site pages
• Drive sales and performance through merchandising – plan pricing, promotions, data analysis
• Optimization of product taxonomy, data filters & on-site search
• Partner with Planning, Buying and Digital Marketing teams to orchestrate and support the successful launch of new assortments
• Responsible for site product navigation maintenance, as necessary.
• Monitor the site to ensure optimized performance around customer engagement and conversion across different customer types.
• Maintain product lifecycle reports to identify bottlenecks in the time-to-site process.
• Support the Digital Merchandising manager in delivering improved product availability to the customer- the right stock at the right time.
• Provide regular competitive analysis.
• Monitor site daily to assure accuracy of product assortments, category navigation, content marketing and promotions.
• Run weekly merchandising analysis and share with the commercial team.
• Responsible for building and testing online promotions, optimizing key categories for SEO as well as merchandising products on the site based on analytics.
• Track products and inventory levels for items planned to be featured in upcoming marketing exposures, to ensure availability at time of feature
• Prepare Ad Hoc reports as needed to support Digital Merchandising and Digital Trading Managers.
• Looking at ways to increase performance against KPIs
• Develop effective and collaborative working relationships within the team
• Work flexibly across projects taking ownership of specified deliverables in support of the overall merchandising strategy ensuring milestones are met on time and to specified standards.
• Works on trend reports and analysis and presents valuable recommendations and insight
Years of Experience
• 1-2 years of online merchandising experience.
Knowledge and Skills
• Fashion, retail & lifestyle brands, Mother & Baby products experience is plus
• Ecommerce shopping such as Magento, Salesforce or Shopify is essential
• Item Master Systems such as Akeneo or any Product Information Management (PIM) Tool
• Content Management Tool would be an added advantage
• Knowledge of tools such as Google Analytics, Datastudio, PowerBI.
• Strong Excel hands on & Data Analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
