Job Summary

The Marketing Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting key marketing operations initiatives through a combination of reporting and process improvement initiatives, product information management and digital asset management coordination, CRM data structuring and reporting, as well as team and cross-functional project management.

Role Overview

The Marketing Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting key marketing operations initiatives through a combination of reporting and process improvement initiatives, product information management and digital asset management coordination, CRM data structuring and reporting, as well as team and cross-functional project management. 

This role will partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and Digital teams to improve data visibility, streamline workflows, and support the successful execution of marketing operations projects.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, comfortable working across multiple stakeholders, and experienced with CRM systems, business intelligence tools, and marketing operations processes. This position is project-focused and will help execute priority initiatives while providing day-to-day operational support to the Marketing Operations team.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports using Salesforce, Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools.
  • Gather, validate, and analyze data from CRM, ERP, marketing, and sales systems to support business decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to elevate insight-forward outputs for marketing, sales, and operational stakeholders.
  • Support and delegate ad hoc reporting requests and recurring business performance reporting.
  • Monitor data quality and identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and consistency.

Marketing Operations Support

  • Assist with marketing and sales operations projects that improve visibility, efficiency, and process execution.
  • Support CRM data management activities, including data cleanup, validation, campaign data tracking, and system maintenance.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect requirements and ensure timely completion of operational requests.
  • Assist with documenting business processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Help identify and implement opportunities for process automation and workflow improvement.

Product Data & Digital Support

  • Support updates and maintenance activities related to product information, catalogs, pricing data, and digital product info.
  • Assist with coordination between CRM, ERP, and digital platforms to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
  • Participate in data validation and quality-control activities that feed into PIM and DAM, and subsequently to Distributor eCommerce channels.
  • Support other cross-functional initiatives involving product content, digital assets, and ecommerce enablement.

Project & Process Coordination

  • Track project tasks, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
  • Facilitate communication between Marketing, Sales, Product Management, IT, and Operations stakeholders.
  • Maintain project documentation, status updates, and request tracking.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing manual effort and improving operational effectiveness.

Technology & Innovation

  • Utilize reporting, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve operational efficiency and reporting capabilities.
  • Assist with evaluating and implementing practical automation opportunities using available business tools.
  • Support data integration and process improvement initiatives across business systems.


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing operations, sales operations, business analytics, reporting, or related functions.
  • Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI, Salesforce, Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and business data.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a project-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.

Preferred

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and ERP systems such as Oracle or JD Edwards.
  • Experience using SQL, Power BI, Python, or other data analysis tools.
  • Exposure to marketing operations workflows, lead management, or sales pipeline reporting.
  • Experience supporting process improvement or workflow automation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools.
