Application Developers

I have 2 openings for Application Developers in Massachusetts and in RI

One position is for 1-year and the other is for 6-months.

I need people with PHP and SQL Server experience.

Description:

Application Developer with the following skill set:

• 6+ years of software development experience with 4+ years of experience with PHP.

• Connection software applications to database such as Microsoft SQL Server 2008 (or newer)

• SQL and SQL server database objects

• Query Optimization

• Data migration (From/To XML, CSV, other database)

• Stored procedures and triggers

• Demonstrated experience in developing, designing, and implementing web-based applications including:

o High availability

o Authentication with multi-level permissions

o Encryption/decryption schemes

o Images and/or video

• Demonstrated ability to be a team player including:

o Change management

o Ability to shift tasks as requirements/demands change

o Ability to coach junior team members

o Ability to recognize and meet deadlines and milestones

o Excellent verbal/written communication skills with both business and technology staff; Comfortable initiating conversations with peers within the organization, as well as the ability to translate business issues and requirements into technical solutions

• Bachelors or advanced degree in computer science, engineering or related field

Addition skills are highly desired and will increase the chance of selection:

• Experience with digital signatures

• Experience with Amazon Web Services or other PaaS

• Experience with Linux

• Experience with MySQL

• Experience with Bonfire, Code Igniter, or other MVC framework
