Cushman & Wakefield is among the largest commercial real estate services firms with revenues of $10.1 billion across core services of agency leasing, asset services, capital markets, facilities services (branded C&W Services), global occupier services, investment management (branded DTZ Investors), tenant representation, and valuations & advisory.Validate, control and process all invoices relating to headleases and document all potential subtenant recharges, settle all payments in line with client SLAs relating to the validated operational costs, process all (sub)lease invoices, collect all cash from the (sub)tenants and support the allocation of cash relating to any (sub)leases.
Collect all VAT invoices, recover overpayments from landlords/managing agents and support the allocation of landlord/managing agent refund/returned payments relating to any properties occupied by Cushman & Wakefield's GOS clients to prevent any additional funding or penalty costs.
Produce all financial reports in the service scope with agreed quality in due course, enabling Cushman & Wakefield GOS clients to maintain correct and credible financial records.
Job Description
Other professional qualifications required for filling the position:
- Finance/economics (Bsc/Msc) degree required
- 6 years strong relevant work experience is required preferably in shared services environment
- 2 years people management experience required preferably in shared services environment
- Process transitioning experience is required
- Service coordination experience is required
- Qualified accountant degree is an advantage
- Real estate operation experience in international environment is an advantage
- Foreign language skills required for filling the position:
- English language advanced
- Knowledge of any other European language is an advantage

Responsibilities of the job holder:
- The Senior Team Leader is responsible for ensuring that the supported finance areas are delivering against their quality and performance targets and deliver an outstanding service to the clients
- Ensures that payables and receivables managed on behalf of clients are correctly stated in the appropriate records, are paid on time, invoices and receipts are correctly attributed and recorded
Regular tasks - Daily and other BAU tasks to deliver:
- Checks and approves reports delivered to clients
- Maintains/creates/approves monthly deliverables files
- Maintains/creates client reporting and BAU check lists
- Ensures correct approval levels are secured for payment of invoices
- Manage and drive recurring & non-recurring charges’ payment process on time
- Ensures that invoice volumes awaiting approval or being queried and approval/query resolution times in the P2P system are minimised
- Drives process implementation, documentation and improvement
- Ensures that bank reconciliations are prepared in line with deadlines
- Ensures that inter account bank transfers are managed same day
- Ensures that BACS/SEPA/Credit Transfers are released same day
- Ensures that client requirements and Cushman & Wakefield quality procedures are followed
- Collaboration with other departments (eg. Cost Control, Estate/Account Management, Data Management)
- Day to day identification of quality issues and risks and escalation of such issues
- Establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with external and internal clients, colleagues and management
- Lease finance query management
- Ensures that cash allocation (tenant receipts and creditor returned payments/refunds) is up to date
- Ensures that cash collection (tenant income, creditor debit balance) is maximised
- Ensures that tax invoices are obtained
- Supports debtor and creditor account reconciliations
- Ensures that draft and actual charge raising is carried out on time
- Ad hoc reporting upon request
- Regular monthly reporting
- Preparing monthly / quarterly SLA & KPI reports (multiple clients & departments)
- Accountable for supporting and/or managing process-, technology-, service- and client transitioning projects
- Ensures that approved processes and guidelines are kept up to date
- Liaising with client and third-party contacts as appropriate
- Managing regular client calls
Service coordination tasks:
- Service coordination within the Client Finance Team
- Supervising internal and external audits
- Creates and maintains yearly calendars
- Approves financial outputs provided to clients
- Develops and maintains the team's back up structure
People's management tasks:
- Onboarding of new team members, managing knowledge transfer and on the job training
- Accountable for maintaining and developing their direct reports' competence, motivation and engagement level
- People managing team members directly reporting to the employee
- Personally accountable for the attrition level in the team
- Making suggestions to the line manager on recruitment, discharge, premium, promotion matters
