Monday - Friday 9:30am-6pm (40 hours per week)

Role Purpose
This role supports the Auckland Distribution Centre by managing customer inquiries and performing administrative tasks. As the first point of contact for branches and customer collections, the Customer Service and Admin Clerk plays a key role in a dynamic, multi-skilled team focused on delivering excellent service and efficient administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Materials Distribution:
Oversee the daily distribution of marketing materials, including stock management and reporting to the marketing team. Handle manual tasks such as lifting and consigning.
Customer Service:
Respond to customer queries via Teams, email, phone, and in person professionally and promptly. Ensure all queries are followed through across platforms like ACE, Myfreight, and WAMAS.
General Administration:
Perform daily admin tasks including email management, data entry, electronic filing, and updating internal systems. Assist the Operations and Senior Management Teams with any ad hoc duties.
Driver Inductions & Site Access:
Act as the first point of contact for drivers, operating the boom gate, verifying inductions, and directing drivers to dock doors.
Health & Safety:
Proactively maintain and follow safety procedures, report hazards, and keep the work area safe and tidy.
Other:
Adhere to all company policies, including Code of Conduct, EEO, and WHS. Demonstrate accountability, attention to detail, and strong time management while working independently and solving problems.
You will be someone who can/has:
- Intermediate Ms Excel and Word proficiency
- Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines
- H&S and security focused
- Excellent phone manner and ability to deal directly with customers
- Understanding of supply chain and distribution centre processes (desirable)
