Job Title
Stockroom Assistant (Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week)
Key Responsibilities
Receive, unpack, and process incoming deliveries.
Organise and maintain stockroom areas according to company standards.
Accurately replenish products on the sales floor.
Conduct regular stock counts and support inventory audits.
Use stock management systems and handheld devices to track inventory.
Ensure products are correctly labelled, stored, and rotated.
Assist with online order fulfilment, click-and-collect orders, and returns processing.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping in the stockroom.
Work closely with retail colleagues to ensure product availability and excellent customer service.
Help minimise stock loss by following security and loss-prevention procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
Previous retail, warehouse, or stockroom experience is preferred but not always required.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer skills and experience using inventory systems are an advantage.
Ability to lift and move boxes safely and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Working Hours
Full-time position: 40 hours per week
Shifts may vary depending on store needs and can include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
