Job Description
The server advises customers, takes orders and serves food and beverages in the dining room. More generally, he/she collaborates with the other members of the dining room team to provide customers with an outstanding gastronomic experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up the dining room before service begins.
Advise customers and take orders.
Serve dishes ordered.
Inquire about customer satisfaction at every opportunity.
Respond to customer requests.
Do the billing once the meal is finished.
Ensure cleanliness of work area, dining room and bathrooms.
Perform any other related duties necessary for the smooth running of the service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of one (1) year experience in food service.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong interest in teamwork.
Ability to work under pressure.
Good organizational skills.
Availability to work evenings and weekends.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French.
