Salary$135,699.00 - $203,549.00Overlake Cancer Services is recruiting for an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) for its High-Risk Cancer Management and Surveillance Program. Within our community, there are thousands of individuals at increased risk for developing cancer due to genetic abnormalities, personal history of cancer, or other factors. This NP will work with an interdisciplinary team of genetic counselors and oncologists to provide personalized screening, management, and early detection planning for these high-risk individuals. This NP will report directly to Overlake Cancer Services’ Medical Director.
Responsibilities:
Directly engage with high-risk patients to provide education and treatment planning
Coordinate with various clinical services (e.g., imaging, genetics, specialists, etc.) to ensure seamless for high-risk patients
Maintains responsibility for the planning, administration, control, and quality management of the program
Participates in the implementation of research opportunities
Partner with marketing and outreach teams to provide education in the community
Participates in relevant committees and conferences
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Washington RN/ARNP state licensure & DEA
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Strong oral and written communication skills
A curious personality with a willingness to learn new skills and knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience as an NP in a cancer clinic strongly preferred
Experience managing individuals at high risk for developing cancer (e.g., cancer survivors, hereditary cancer syndromes, etc.)
Experience or training in cancer genetics is not required but curiosity and willingness to learn would help with steep learning curve
EPIC EMR experience preferred
