What You Will Do:
The Junior Business Requirements Analyst will support national security offices to modernize their business practices and support a cross-functional team that will build a new IT platform to enhance information sharing.
Responsibilities will include:
Engage with stakeholders through workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs to gather and validate business requirements.
Work closely with mission stakeholders to understand operational needs, document actionable requirements, and support the delivery of secure and scalable IT program management solutions.
Develop clear and comprehensive documentation including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data models.
Support Agile teams by contributing to backlog refinement, ensuring traceability, and maintaining high-quality requirements throughout delivery.
Collaborate with technical teams to confirm requirements are accurately translated into Salesforce configurations and customizations.
Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) through test case development, defect tracking, and validation activities.
Support change management efforts including training materials, release notes, demonstrations, and communications.
Provide structured and timely status updates, helping identify risks, issues, and dependencies.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze data to identify trends, inconsistencies, or improvement opportunities.
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelor’s Degree
ONE (1) year of relevant professional experience supporting business operations, administrative functions, or project activities.
Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC 3-5 days per week
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering of consulting
Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
Experience supporting Federal civilian agencies with national security missions (e.g., DHS, DOJ).
Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Business Analyst.
Prior consulting experience in the Federal sector.
Exposure to data modeling, data migration, or Salesforce reporting/dashboards.
Experience with Jira or similar tools.
Exposure to Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
Familiarity with Agile delivery practices (Scrum or SAFe).
Proven ability to leverage AI tools creatively in a professional setting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to analyze data to support requirements and decision-making.
