Advocate Assistant
Job Description
A reputed law firm in Mumbai is seeking an Advocate Assistant to support advocates in legal research, drafting, documentation, court-related work, and case management. This role is ideal for fresh law graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience looking to build a career in litigation and legal practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist advocates in preparing legal documents, notices, applications, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and compile relevant case laws and legal precedents.
• Maintain case files, legal records, and documentation.
• Coordinate court filings and track hearing schedules.
• Assist in drafting briefs, submissions, and legal reports.
• Support day-to-day litigation and arbitration-related activities.
• Organize digital and physical legal documents.
Requirements:
• LLB degree or final-year law student.
• Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience may apply.
• Basic knowledge of legal procedures and court processes.
• Good legal research and drafting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, PDF tools, and legal research platforms.
