Qualifications: 
ISBE certified or ASEP certified
Previous coaching and playing experience
Excellent organizational and communication skills

Compensation:
Based on experience assigned on the Athletic Extra Duty Stipend Schedule

Job Summary: 
The Assistant Coach will be responsible for helping build and maintain the boys' basketball program which will include, but will not be limited to: 

• Helping maintain levels of competition
• Assisting with summer camps for current and prospective players
• Assisting in monitoring all athletes academic progress
• Following and enforcing established eligibility requirements of District 12, KRC and the IHSA
• Assisting with individual practices to provide individual and team development
• Following team rules and goals that are shared with players and parents
• Following established procedures in the event of an injury to an athlete
• Ensuring all athletes are supervised at all times when involved with team activities
• Acting as a positive role model and maintaining proper sportsmanship on the team at all times
• Assisting in maintaining an inventory of all equipment
• Attending professional development clinics/conferences specific to boys' basketball
