Responsibilities
- Ability to safely operate various pieces of equipment, including Skid Steer and Front-End Loader to meet production targets
- Complete all necessary daily paperwork. May include, but not limited to, daily logs, vehicle inspection logs, hours of service, etc.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain crushing equipment
- Clean, lubricate and perform minor maintenance work on equipment
- Maintain site cleanliness, and perform general labour activities, including but not limited to shoveling in and around the belts and crusher
- Comply and enforce the company’s environmental, health and safety policies
- Act in accordance with Provincial Occupational Health and Safety regulations and practices
Qualifications
- Able to perform manual labour and lift up to 25 kilograms
- Previous crushing experience would be an asset
- Have mechanical knowledge and experience with general equipment maintenance
- Previous experience operating a skid steer and loader
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Flexible to work for extended time periods, overtime and on weekends when required
- Able to work independently in a busy environment
- Able to promote a positive and safe work environment in a physically demanding and fast paced work environment
- Comfortable working outdoors, in extreme weather conditions, and in a noisy and dusty environment
- WHMIS and Surface Miner certificates would be considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required
Compensation Data
Targeting $28.29 - 32.05/hr
