Integrated Intelligence Analyst
Job Description
As an “Integrated Intelligence Analyst” you are responsible for creating a comprehensive situational awareness across cyber, physical and geopolitical domains. You analyze and correlate multi-source intelligence to support decision-makers in understanding risks to critical infrastructure and deriving appropriate mitigation strategies.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitoring and analysis of (cyber) threats, vulnerabilities (e.g. CVEs), and threat actor activities
• Continuous tracking of geopolitical developments (e.g. conflicts, sanctions, political instability) with potential impact on critical infrastructure
• Assessment of hybrid threats including cyber, physical sabotage, espionage and influence operations
• Correlation of information from multiple sources (cyber intelligence, OSINT, governmental reports, industry data) into a unified situational picture (Lagebild)
• Identification of risks and interdependencies across KRITIS sectors (e.g. energy, telecommunications, logistics, healthcare)
• Creation of integrated intelligence reports, briefings and alerts for different target audiences (technical teams, management, executives)
• Derivation of actionable recommendations and early warning indicators
• Support to crisis management and incident response through structured situation updates and impact assessments
- Completed studies in a technical, engineering, scientific, political science or security-related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in intelligence analysis, IT security, risk management or a related field
- Fluency in German AND English (written and spoken)
- Solid understanding of IT security, networking and common threat landscapes
- Basic knowledge of geopolitical dynamics and international relations
- Understanding of KRITIS sectors and their specific risks and dependencies
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to work with incomplete or ambiguous information
- Experience in multi-source intelligence analysis (cyber, OSINT, geopolitical, economic)
- Ability to identify patterns, correlations and emerging risks across domains
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, structured and decision-oriented reports
- High level of situational awareness and prioritization skills
- Experience with analytical and visualization tools (e.g. SIEM, BI tools, dashboards) is a plus
- Structured and detail-oriented working style with a strong focus on quality
- Certifications in IT security (e.g. CompTIA, CISSP, CISM, etc.)
- Experience in intelligence analysis, crisis management or threat intelligence
- Background in political science, security studies or international relations
- Experience with OSINT tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of hybrid threat scenarios and resilience strategies
- Experience working with governmental institutions or regulated industries
- Experience with German customers with international location
- Experience with international customers
- You participated in transformation/transition projects in the IT/TC sector
- You have experience with T-Systems internal tools
