JOB SUMMARY:
This is an Operations Review Specialist in the General Tax Administration Program’s, Business Technology Office (BTO), Solution Support Services (SSS) Process located in the Orlando Service Center. The incumbent installs, configures, and supports GTA’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) and Internet connection, or a segment of a network system. Additionally, the incumbent identifies and analyzes operational and workflow problems and develops, recommends, and implements solutions. The incumbent also maintains network hardware and software, monitors the network to ensure network availability to all system users, and performs necessary maintenance to support network availability.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue within the Business Technology Office (BTO).
- Four years of technical support experience including customer support or user interactions.
- Experience researching system issues and implementing resolutions.
- Experience supporting users on a Microsoft platform, including Active Directory, or Microsoft Office Suite.
PREFERENCES:
- Professional experience has been performed in a technical support environment that required customer support and user interaction.
SPECIAL NOTES:
- This position requires continuous standing, stooping, and lifting up to 40 lbs., with or without accommodation, at any time during the work schedule.
SALARY: The hiring salary for this position will generally not exceed $4,556.24 monthly/$54,674.88 annually.
