Job Summary:
Supports the hospital’s continuous readiness efforts by collecting, analyzing, and reporting data related to accreditation, licensing, and regulatory compliance. Collaborates with leaders, managers, and staff to monitor standards, assess compliance risks, and ensure timely follow-up on survey findings, corrective action plans, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Five years' relevant experience: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Tracks new and revised CMS, TJC, state, and other agency standards and assists in communication of changes to appropriate stakeholders.
- Prepares data, documentation, and reports in support of mock surveys, tracers, and readiness rounds. Assists in coordinating on-site survey activities, ensuring surveyor requests are met, and supports post-survey action plan tracking.
- Develops and maintains databases, dashboards, and reports to monitor compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements. Tracks performance improvement initiatives, plans of correction, and completion of compliance-related action items.
- Assists with policy and procedure reviews to ensure alignment with regulatory and accreditation standards. Maintains records, logs, and documentation to demonstrate compliance with internal and external requirements. Prepares regulatory compliance and trends presentations and materials to assist accreditation leaders.
- Works closely with quality, patient safety, risk management, and leadership teams to support continuous readiness. Participates in committees, work groups, and accreditation/regulatory initiatives as assigned.
