Thomson Power Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Technician – Level 1 to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational experience in a manufacturing or technical environment who is looking to build a career in quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct basic visual inspections of products to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Perform administrative QA tasks including documentation and data entry
  • Process non-conformance materials and support finished product inspections
  • Calibrate equipment and maintain accurate records
  • Enter QA transactions in SAP with guidance
  • Use Microsoft Excel and Word to complete QA reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support production goals
  • Apply sound judgment in quality-related decisions

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or technical support role
  • Good computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with SAP is a plus

Compensation:
  • The starting hourly rate for this position is CAD 25.4
  • This position is eligible for Overtime pay
