Regulatory Specialist

 

Position Summary

Regulatory Specialist responsible for supporting the Regulatory Manager in all activities related to the registration, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of chemical and biological products for agricultural use. The position involves execution and coordination of regulatory processes, legislative monitoring, technical documentation management, stewardship initiatives, and interaction with regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage dossiers for registration of pesticides and bioinputs. 
  • Support federal and state registration maintenance activities, including technical updates according to company strategy and regulatory authority requirements. 
  • Review and manage physicochemical, toxicological, and residue studies for regulatory purposes. 
  • Conduct analysis of Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) and Occupational Risk Assessments. 
  • Review and manage commercial and industrial labeling compliance. 
  • Support stewardship and good agricultural practices initiatives. 
  • Monitor regulatory legislation and assess potential impacts on the company portfolio. 
  • Interact with regulatory authorities, consultants, laboratories, and industry associations when necessary. 
  • Represent the company at external meetings, technical discussions, and industry events. 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Agronomic Engineering, or related fields. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs related to pesticides and/or bioinputs. 
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian regulatory framework applicable to crop protection products. 
  • Knowledge of international regulatory requirements is considered a plus. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook; familiarity with AI-based productivity tools is desirable.

Working Conditions

  • Up to 20% travel requirement. 
  • On-site position based in Campinas, São Paulo – Brazil.
