Job Description
Summary
The Specialist, Brand is a core member of the SHRM Brand team, supporting all things SHRM Brand to help position SHRM as the predominant thought leader at the intersection of work, workers, and the workplace. The Senior Specialist supports a wide range of projects including national TV commercials, brand campaign strategy & performance and brand compliance to amplify SHRM’s brand and reputation. This role understands how to help drive projects forward efficiently and accurately while collaborating with cross functional teams and stakeholders/members. As a member of the Global Brand Team, the Specialist promotes the brand through messaging, creative storytelling, and brand activations at SHRM events with a demonstrated understanding of SHRM’s audience and strategic vision.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-visibility brand initiatives, integrated marketing campaigns, enterprise events, and social media programs while gaining exposure to senior leaders and strategic business priorities.
Responsibilities
Support the execution of enterprise brand initiatives across campaigns, events, content, and digital channels
Coordinate projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations are met
Partner with internal teams and external agencies to bring marketing initiatives to life
Review creative assets and communications to ensure alignment with brand standards
Assist with the development and execution of social media content and channel strategies
Monitor social media performance and help identify opportunities to improve engagement and effectiveness
Develop presentations, briefs, reports, and project updates for stakeholders
Support event branding and activation efforts
Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and brand consistency across the organization
Serve as a brand ambassador and advocate for best practices across teams.
Other brand projects assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
Experience:
3+ years of experience in brand marketing, integrated marketing, communications, social media, or agency account management
Strong project management and organizational skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
Experience supporting multi-channel marketing campaigns
Familiarity with social media content planning, publishing, analytics, and reporting
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
A collaborative mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed
Preferred Experience:
Agency experience or experience working in a fast-paced marketing environment
Experience with project management platforms such as Monday.com
Experience with social media management platforms such as Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, or similar tools
Strong PowerPoint and presentation development skills
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized and ability to juggle multiple tasks with competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong project management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work as part of a team with excellent interpersonal skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

This position operates in a typical office environment and requires the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical requirements may include:

Work Environment
Hybrid Position (3 Days In-Office, 2 Days Remote):
This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with Tuesday through Thursday in office and Monday and Friday remote. Employees must be available during standard business hours, with core hours beginning between 8:00–9:00 a.m. and concluding between 5:00–6:00 p.m. local time.
Travel: 0 - 10%

The hiring range for this position is $70,000 to $83,000 per year. This range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
