Job Description
1. Summary
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operation Inventory Manager to join our Supply Chain Operations team. This role is designed for a professional with 10–12 years of experience who can balance high-level inventory strategy with rigorous tactical execution. You will act as the primary owner for inventory health, ensuring data integrity across our systems while driving process improvements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to maintain inventory accuracy, mitigate financial exposure, and ensure our operational processes are audit-ready and efficient.
2. Roles and Responsibilities
This role requires a blend of strategic oversight, tactical analysis, and operational accountability.
Forecasting: Create monthly overall inventory forecast, includes on-hand and on-order, inventory storage charges forecast and buy back forecast by QTR to support finance and business planning. Identify and implement action plans to improve overall forecast accuracy.
Inventory Accuracy & RCCA: Ensure inventory data in enterprise systems is accurate and up-to-date. Investigate variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
OSAT Site Management: Lead and conduct annual physical inventory counts at OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) sites to ensure physical-to-digital alignment.
Compliance & Audit: Ensure all inventory processes adhere to financial and quality regulations (SOX, ISO 9001/14001).
Workflow Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for inventory procedures, sharing these workflows with key partners to ensure consistency.
Data Reporting: Prepare and review detailed inventory reports for Cisco management and key personnel.Maintain and manage archives of related data using SharePoint and enterprise systems
Process Evolution: Continuously evaluate and refine supply chain inventory workflows to support evolving business requirements, scaling operations as the company grows.
3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Inventory Accuracy: Maintain high precision in system-to-physical inventory reconciliation.
Forecast Accuracy: Improvement in forecast variance against actual inventory.
Audit Readiness: Successful completion of OSAT inventory counts and compliance with SOX/ISO standards.
Process Efficiency: Clarity and maintenance of documented workflows and timely resolution of inventory discrepancies.
4. Skill and Experience Requirements
Experience: 10–12 years of relevant experience in supply chain operations, inventory control, or manufacturing logistics, ideally within the semiconductor industry.
Analytical Prowess: Strong data modeling and analytical skills. Ability to perform deep-dive troubleshooting and translate data into business recommendations.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of planning systems (e.g., Oracle) and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI).
Communication & Influence: Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to influence decision-makers and collaborate with diverse supply chain partners.
Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of demand/supply planning, manufacturing execution, inventory management and logistics processes.
Attention to Detail: High level of rigor in maintaining system data integrity and documentation, coupled with the ability to manage complex, multi-step administrative processes.
