Are you passionate about automotive innovation and ensuring the highest quality standards in system development? Valeo is looking for a detail-oriented SYSTEM TEST ENGINEER to join our team and play a key role in the validation of cutting-edge automotive systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Test Execution & Analysis:
- Perform and evaluate test steps defined in test specifications.
- Conduct measurements and investigations for system, system integration, and experimental tests.
- Analyze results, prepare comprehensive reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Master and apply the use of advanced test equipment.
Compliance & Quality:
- Strictly adhere to project timelines and schedules.
- Ensure all tests and measurements comply with customer requirements, product specifications, and industry standards.
- Identify deviations from specifications, propose solutions, and actively participate in the correction process.
System Testing activities:
- Analyze system test requirements in collaboration with the R&D team, considering both customer and internal Valeo standards.
- Update and maintain system and system integration test specifications.
- Write and maintain test scripts to automate test cases
Traceability:
- Ensure full traceability across reports, tests, specifications, and requirements.
- Create detailed bug reports for identified deviations and support the implementation of corrective measures.
Configuration & Asset management:
- Develop and execute configuration management plans to track development states using appropriate tools.
- Maintain accurate records of test equipment and assets.
General support:
- Support the preparation for internal and external audits.
- Maintain strict data protection and confidentiality standards.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, or similar).
- Solid working knowledge of C programming
- Experience in system testing or validation (Automotive experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with testing tools and measurement equipment.
- A proactive mindset with strong analytical skills.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines.
