We're looking for a talented, experienced QA Automation Engineer with solid technical skills and a passion for writing and testing software to drive automated testing of our FX trading platform. In this role, you will take primary responsibility for the building Test Frameworks in Java in collaboration with development team. You will work closely with Development team and review requirements, create test plans that effectively evaluate very complex data pipelines and data processing algos

What you will be responsible for:

• Build, enhance and maintain an automated test infrastructure for multi-platform products that will be used to validate all aspects of the product operation.
• Knowledge of continuous testing tools like Jenkins.
• Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess product quality.
• Integrate with SCM infrastructure to establish a continuous build and test cycle using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
• Establish processes and toolsets to maintain automation scripts and generate regular test reports.
• Review code and provide feedback to other SDETs in the team.

What we value:

• Strong test automation experience of 3-9 years with Selenium, JUnit, and/or Playwright is a must.
• Coding experience with automated testing frameworks, tools, services, and physical devices.
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges, troubleshooting/debugging steps, and solutions.
• Self-starter who is highly motivated, driven, and able to work effectively both independently and in a team/collaborative environment.
• Team player who is comfortable working within a team dynamic to meet goals and objectives.
• Ability to deal well with ambiguous or undefined problems and think abstractly.
• Interest in tools development would be a plus.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• 3-9 years of experience as an Automation Engineer or in white-box testing of Java applications and web applications.
• Experience developing automation in at least one object-oriented or scripting language such as Java, C#/C++, or Python.
• Experience in test automation using BDD/Cucumber, combined with strong hands-on experience with Ruby, Java, or C# and Selenium.
• Experience in test framework design and development with JUnit or TestNG framework.
• Ability to work with Ant build scripts, Maven, and latest CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Knowledge of UI automation, web service automation, and performance/load testing.
• Experience with Linux OS scripting, including shell/bash scripting.
• Experience with testing methodologies such as unit, integration, and system testing, along with API testing.
• Knowledge of Java is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI/ML or GenAI tools to enhance test automation, data validation, and quality engineering processes within data platforms is a plus.
