Plant & Maintenance

Safety:

• Ensure all plant staff and contract workmen are getting trained on Health &  Safety related for their profile
• Ensure Plant is running without any unsafe condition or environment
• Implement Safety related SOPs at working places inside Plant
• Ensure that Risk Assessment is properly been followed at the plant before performing any non routine activity
• Daily Inspection of equipments and machinery and report in case of any maintenance requirement to Plant Manager
• Periodic check on Transit Mixers and Pumps and ensure they are in good condition/TM checklist.
• Monitoring progress of BU improvement plan for Plant
• Analyzing GAP in Safety Std Vs Actual situation at Plant like LOTOTO, working at Height, confined space etc. and its improvement thru training
• Proper reporting of unsafe act/unsafe condition and its analysis

Budgeting

• Prepare P&M budget based on requirements of equipments, machinery and spares in next six months in consultation with Area P&M In-charge
• Cost Reduction

Maintenance Scheduling

• Daily maintenance scheduling & to review daily maintenance check list
• Train P&M assistant to check the conditions of equipment & spares as per the check list on daily basis
• Check status of Batcher cabin, Wheel loader, Cement feeding pump, DG, Concrete pump etc
• Scheduled Maintenance Scheduling which includes Knowing life of each equipment and machinery in terms of Cub m & Hours of running plus its due date for maintenance.
• Ensure that Plant Team has been informed in advance about scheduled maintenance and is carried out as per the schedule

Equipment/Machinery Maintenance

• Maintaining Equipments, tools, spanners, wires ropes and other spares in place and keeping a record of their inventory and usage
• Check Inventory of spares including availability of spares, Emergency spares list.
• Taking weekly basis updated list of hub store items, List of locally available items from area PM
• Preventive maintenance to avoid breakdown

Documentation

Maintaining records such as

• History card for each machine
• Master log common to all machines
• Fixed Asset register 
• P&M monthly performance report
• 1500 hrs maintenance schedule and maintenance task
• Monthly maintenance budget status
• Monthly diesel consumption report
• CAPA details
• Energy register
• Spare parts list
• Daily check list for Transit mixers and wheel loader

Plant Team Coordination

• Support Plant quality during plant calibration process and ensure that required weights and equipments are in place
• Guide Plant Batcher during daily/scheduled maintenance and check for BC Mix repeated errors on previous day and elimination/fault detection
• Coordinate with plant manager and update him on a daily basis with regards to Plant Maintenance schedule, Spare part inventory management, safety KPI reports etc.
