Global Portfolio and Delivery Manager
Job Description
To capitalize on growth in Microsoft’s Small and Midsize Enterprise segment, Avanade must scale at speed and reduce cost of sale—shifting from custom delivery models to scalable, productized services that grow independently of headcount.
We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Global Portfolio and Delivery Manager to support the global enablement and delivery of our pre-packaged services portfolio. This individual will collaborate with the shared services, delivery hubs, and engineering capacity to design solutions that can be executed with speed, consistency, and quality.
What You’ll Do:
Design new services to solve customer problems: Architect new service models, leveraging existing tools, accelerators and capabilities. Identify and design new AI-driven tools and methods to accelerate time to value and maximize outcomes delivered to customers.
Industrialize Services Delivery: Bring the mindset and mechanics of software to services—codifying repeatable solutions, reusing shared capabilities, and driving predictable, scalable execution.
Enable the Pre-packaged Services Model: Ensure all pre-packaged services are delivered through standardized methods, shared service capacity, reusable assets, and delivery governance.
Establish Delivery Readiness: Partner with Solution & Delivery leaders to validate global readiness of every pre-packaged service team.
AI-Enable Delivery Talent: Ensure our global workforce is enabled with AI tools, platform delivery models, and training to support the next generation of digital service delivery.
Key Accountabilities
Lead Scalable Service Design and Delivery: Drive the end-to-end execution of pre-packaged services across shared services, engineering hubs, and global delivery teams—ensuring consistent, repeatable, and high-quality outcomes.
Build and Manage Delivery Capacity: Develop and execute workforce plans to meet demand across regions. Ensure the right mix of skills, flexibility, and scale to support the growing portfolio.
Enable GTM Readiness: Partner with the GTM Product team to align delivery models, assets, and teams for seamless offer activation and global scale.
Align with Shared Services: Collaborate with the Global Shared Services Lead to streamline delivery responsibilities, eliminate duplication, and ensure operational clarity across functions.
Standardize and Industrialize Execution: Establish delivery playbooks, onboarding frameworks, and reusable assets to accelerate time-to-value and improve execution consistency.
Deliver Insight-Driven Operations: Develop and maintain dashboards and performance reporting to monitor readiness, capacity, and cost-to-serve. Share insights with leadership to drive strategic investments and continuous improvement.
Optimize Delivery Economics: Work with solutioning, delivery and shared service teams to model delivery costs, refine the offshore/onshore mix, and maximize cost-efficiency and margin.

Deep experience leading global delivery, shared services, or engineering hub teams
Strong understanding of productized services, industrialized delivery models, and AI integration
Experience in workforce planning across offshore/onshore models, with a focus on AI upskilling and platform alignment
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through operational transformation
Familiarity with enterprise AI solutions, platforms, and how AI integrates into delivery workflows
Skilled in cross-functional coordination, data-driven decision-making, and performance measurement
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Education, Certifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
5-8 years in delivery, workforce operations, or services leadership
Proven experience partnering with delivery and shared services teams for packaged or scalable solutions
Experience working within a global delivery model across consulting or managed services
Proven track record partnering across product, engineering, operations, and finance functions
