Job Description

 

SUMMARY:

  • Facilitate the process of selling assets to Point investors
  • Play a key role in fund tracking and reporting 
  • Assist in supporting the sales team, underwriting team, and management to meet the company’s monthly funding goals and exception approval
  • Help onboard new investors, expand existing relationships and work cross-functionally within the organization to improve current procedures 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Generate weekly reports (Sale Notices, Diligence Reports, Bill of Sale)
  • Provide initial approvals for investor exceptions but defer to a senior team member for final approval
  • Assistant in monthly reporting
  • Work with senior team members to create product specs 
  • Complete simple data requests and simple data analysis
  • Monitor investor fundings and cash balances to make sure investors fund accounts
  • Understand the different eligibility criteria and operations between investors
  • Assist in preparing for investor operations meetings
  • Assist in QA/QC/Field Exams
  • Learn the basics of underwriting/customers calls and general ops at Point

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years of finance or real-estate finance experience
  • Outward facing experience (ie sales or investor relations)
  • Experience with large data sets 

 

SKILLS 

  • Excel proficiency
  • General real estate or finance understanding
  • Proficient data organization skills
  • SQL or Snowflake experience - nice to have

Family Friendly
Point will top off California PFL earnings to full salary for up to eight weeks, as well as two weeks of fully paid leave to be available after exhaustion of CA PFL. An employee can take reasonable vacation time in addition to the California PFL leave. For employees outside CA, Point will top of PFL earnings in accordance with the state applicable leave laws. 

Work From Home Stipends
With employees working remotely, Point will provide employees a $50 monthly cell phone stipend and a $50 monthly internet stipend. In addition, we will reimburse up to $150 to help you purchase supplies for your home office.
